Terms and Conditions – The Gleam Team Cleaning Services
1. Agreement to Terms
By booking with The Gleam Team Cleaning Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payment Terms
Full payment is required prior to the commencement of any cleaning service.
All bookings must be paid in advance to secure your appointment. Work will not begin until payment has been received and confirmed.
If payment has not been made before the scheduled start time, the booking may be cancelled or rescheduled.
3. Minimum Booking Requirement
A minimum booking of 3 hours applies to all services.
This is based on a team of two cleaners (1.5 hours each).
4. Access and Entry
Clients must ensure clear and safe access to the property at the scheduled time.
If access is not available upon arrival, the booking may be treated as a cancellation.
5. Client Responsibilities
To allow us to deliver the best results:
All general clutter, rubbish, clothing, and personal items must be removed prior to our arrival
Surfaces must be clear and accessible
We do not handle excessive clutter, rubbish removal, or organisation unless pre booked as an additional service
6. Scope of Service
Our standard cleaning services include general surface cleaning, wiping, and sanitising.
Deep cleaning, heavy build up removal, wall washing, ceiling cleaning, and detailed work are not included unless specifically booked.
7. Add On Services
Additional services such as oven cleaning, window cleaning, and carpet cleaning must be selected at the time of booking.
These services are not included in standard cleaning packages.
8. Additional Charges
Heavily soiled or cluttered properties, or conditions outside normal use, may require additional time and may incur additional charges.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes.
Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a reasonable cancellation fee
Same day cancellations or failure to provide access may be charged up to the full booking amount
10. Condition of Property
Cleaning results depend on the condition of the property.
We do not guarantee removal of permanent stains, mould damage, wear and tear, or pre existing damage.
11. Health and Safety
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if the environment is unsafe or poses a risk to our team.
12. Ongoing and Commercial Services
For ongoing, Airbnb, or commercial services:
Payment terms will be agreed in advance
Minimum service times apply
Properties must be maintained in a reasonable condition between cleans
24 hours’ notice is required for changes or cancellations
13. Late Payment
For any services approved for payment after completion:
Payment is due within 7 days
We may charge reasonable administration costs for overdue accounts
We may recover any reasonable costs incurred in collecting overdue payments
